I vote this thread for Hall of Fame status.

This should go perfectly with other important Corvette questions:

How many coats of Zaino do you have?

Are those Lloyd floormats?

How much HP will my new shift boot add?

Cant find it...Apparently CC was kidding around and told some guy his car would stop better with his braking system filled half and half with water and brake fluid.

The guy actually did it and took 'er for a spin

ill never forget that one.
Aww sh*t - you mean I shouldn't have done that? I thought my brakes felt a little sloppy... Luckily going half/half on motor oil water is a well documented recommendation. In fact, i think I'll head out to the garage right now and fire her up!

Yes it matters - you need to match the red of your K&N intake to get the full 10% HP gain.

I think yellow is second at 8%.

This is why the outside horsies are for Vette drivers, and the inside horsies are all mustangs.

Finally a serious post in the C4 forum. The problem is, you probably didn't have the weight distributed correctly. Next time try it with someone sitting in the passenger seat or sit right in the center of the car on the center console.
