I just picked up my 1st Vette, 91 Roadster. I have the adjustable suspension in the console, but on the RPO sticker in the console it shows the FE1 base suspension???
FX3 could be ordered by itself on both 'verts and coupes and came with the base FE1 springs.
Verts could not be ordered with the new for '91 heavy duty Z07 performance suspension package. Z07 got FX3, stiffer springs, larger sway bars, and HD bushings in the front lower control arms.
The RPO sticker woudl have FX3 listed along with FE1 if the car was ordered with the FX3 suspension. Do the front shocks have the round black actuator on the top of the shock? If so, is the wire connected?
The RPO sticker wil have the VIN of the car listed; does it match the VIN on the dash? It could also be that somebody swapped out the original console plate and replaced it with one with the selector switch.

Vins matched on console and dash. Front shocks do have the actuator and wire. Switch in console has 3 settings. I played with the suspension on Sat when I picked up the car, switch is working the suspension like its supposed to. Everything else on the RPO list matches up, this has me scratching my head. Think I will order a build sheet from the museum in the morning.
Welcome to the forum! Lift the hood and make sure you have the shock actuators on top of your front Bilstein shocks. If so you, you have FX3.
Hey man, what is an Atlanta Tider? If it is what I think it is... then just ignore my avatar! Afterall, it is Corvette season... months to go for that football stuff so you can relax!

Well you got two things, the FX3 and class! I respect a man that sticks by his team! Good or bad. I am an Auburn guy but got alot of respect for the Alabama tradition. Competition is good! BTW: Every head coach I ever played for either played for or coached under the Bear.

I have sat thru the great years and the Shula years! I agree competition is good, I do not have the hatred that alot of fans have. Never had any coaches from Coach Bryant, but I was fortunate enough to have spent some time with him as a young boy in the late 70's. My grandfather and Coach were good friends, Coach used to come stay with my grandfather on his boat on Lake Guntersville from time to time, they would get liqoured up and tell me some crazy stories!

You have some great memories. He liked his liquor. He was very old school. Some of my old coaches have told a few tales about him. The funny onea usually started out "So Coach was drinking this gin and we was all rabbit hunting...." or "We was sneeking back into the dorm after curfew, and you will never guess who we bumped into!?! By the end of the stories you were doubled over laughing. If we ever meet, I will tell you a story or two.
