I put Hedmans on my L98 and have a tough time getting to a few of the plugs. I've heard from various people that TPiS makes a good set that makes spark plug changes easier. What ever set you choose, make sure they are ceramic or thermal coated. Good luck

I have TPIS and plug changes are a cinch. Even the dreaded number 8. EM also makes a very good LT header. Neither one will just bolt up to cat back system. You will have to have a exhaust shop do it for you. Now, EM, makes adaptor pipes to fit their headers to a Corsa catback. Those might work. You would have to contact them to find out. www.exoticmuscle.com. Or www.tpis.com .

Default well..

one thing guys is that i do not have a tpi. i have an lt1 if that makes a difference and when i look at it it looks like there is room to do it. but i heard that the hedman elites are really good. also how much performance is really added by doing it? and i already have a full flowmaster exhaust on it.

LT1, I'd go for TPiS or Exotic Muscle. You might have to go with smaller cats since fitting longtubes kinda messes things up for you guys, but I dont know how that is with EM for sure.

I'd still say 10-15rwhp from headers. Maybe on the lower side of that for LT1s since the exhaust is not so restrictive compared to L98.

Shortys are useless, only longtubes are worth the expense of adding headers.

After further mods are done, the benefit of headers will show more.

On my LT1 Vette I have TPIS headers with Random Tech cats and a Flowmaster catback that has been modified to attach to cats. My first exhaust was Hooker shorties, stock cats and Corsa catback. There was a difference. But when I put on the exhaust I have now, BIG difference. The car really wanted to rev.

I had SW LTs put on my 95 with rt cats. The SW system comes with custom bent ss pipes welded to the rt cats to hook them up to your cat back system.

I kept the stock LT1 exhaust and glad that I did. Sounds really nice with the headers and I put the $$ I would have spent on a corsa exhaust into a hot cam kit

I have TPIS and I like them but, if SW stainless was avaliable at the time I would have gotten it.

This sounds like the way to go. Didn't know they had this. But I think they only come in 1 5/8's and I need 1 3/4" for my application.

what is sw lt's? that completely lost me. i have heard about the cooks or kooks however you spell it. and i have heard of bbk and hedman long tubes. i just wonder if they are worth the money. is the best thing for me to do is to take my car to a muffler shop sinc ei have aftermarket full exhaust and see if they can built or make something to adapt?
