Ignition switch replacement on a 94 auto
How hard of a job would this be. On my car I am having intermitted problems with the security devise in either the key or the switch. I talked to the parts counter person at the GM garage and he said 99% of the time it’s the wires inside the switch going bad.

Hey Nowhere man please listen,
I changed my ignition switch out last year, wasn't bad I am really not an auto mechanic. Followed the FSM steps, hardest part for me was the shaft lock, make sure you have a tool for that.

thanks I looked in my FSM but just wanted to here from other people who had done this before for some insite. Im not to sure if this is the problem yet. so just thinking ahaead
