Accelerator clips on a LT1
I bought two new ones but how do you put them on. These are the two clips that attaches to the fuel rail cover. What is the best way of doing this

When I did mine, I put the clips around the cable and then pushed the clips into the fuel rail cover. Make sure that you don't try to bend the cable more than you have to otherwise you could cause it to stick.

Where did you find the clips at? Mine were broke when I got the vette and I've been looking for replacements.

GM should still carry them. I bought some spares last year at the dealer.
Easy to install. Just use needle nose to collapse back of old clip and push thru to remove. Installing new is pretty straight foward. Wrap around cable and push in hole. It may be easier to remove cable from TB and fuel rail cover so you can get to it easily.

That's about $5 too much.

That's still too much.
Just wait for a carshow and when you see someone's hood up, swipe them!!
Only kidding of course.
In all honesty they shouldn't be more than a quarter a piece, they're just simple clips. If I had a source I'd let you know. This makes another item that should be reproduced since nobody else makes them(that we know of).

Corvette Central has them for $8.95 for a pair. I know it they are over priced but where else do you get them
