We've all heard about the tank stickers on mid-year Corvettes. My question is this: Who has found that their C4 also has a sticker on the tank......or anywhere else on the car?
My '85 track car (the only C4 that I have taken completely apart) had a build sheet on the tank and one stuffed into the front crossmember as well. What are your findings?
If you are referring to BUILD SHEETS my '93 Ruby 'Vert has two. I was able to retrieve one from the frame rail under the power steering reservoir. The other is still attached to the gas tank but I have heard too many horror stories messing with the straps so that is where it will stay.

That is just where my build sheet (generally known as the 'tank sticker' by owners of older Corvettes) was...on the front of the gas tank.
The one in the front crossmember was inside in the hole that can only be seen when you drop the crossmember out of the car. Normally this hole is covered by the frame rail. Might not be in that same spot on all cars, but I bet there is one stuffed somewhere up there.
Dumb question: What information is contained in the build sheet that one would need to know?
Nothing on a C4 Corvette...........since you can order a copy of the build sheet and the window sticker from the National Corvette Museum anyway. Just trivia...and the fun of having the ORIGINAL document rather than a copy (like having the original window sticker that came with the car). I know..its ****

On my 95 I have it on the gas tank only, right side, upper area Have not found nor located it in any other position (frame rails, et al) on the vehicle.
