Steering Wheel
Before I go to taking it off...does the Corvette have a corvette only steering wheel pattern?
What I mean is...can I buy a Grant wheel or something similar and install it or does it have to be a Vette only Item...

You'll need a Hub for a Grant Wheel. You can't just pull off your Steering Wheel and slip on another - not without a Hub anyway.
