96 ac problems
well when the ac is off, air still blows through the defrost and feet vents. and when i first start the car the ac button blinks like ten times, i just noticed and didnt know if its suppose to. ive searched but couldnt find what exactly i needed.

You can try the easy stuff first by checking the fittings and connections under the hood like the 3 way connector under the passenger side fuel rail to see if its split or broken. Being a 96 I'd bet money on it being the controller though. Not the one in the dash, but underneath it just above where your left foot is during driving. Its very very common on 96 models. It usually winds up being a softened/collapsed connector on the vac source line coming into the controller. I was able to modify mine and its been fine ever since [3 years ago and many miles].
