Locking Remotes
Hi!
Newbie needing help.....again!
My 84 vette came with two remotes when I bought it. The batteries were dead so I've just got round to changing them today and guess what.....nothing happened. Now I'm wondering ......
did 84's come with factory locking remotes?
Could mine be an aftermarket fitting?
How do I tell if it has remote locking and they are not just 'show' keyrings lol

my 95 came with 2 remotes one worked the other didn't. when the one that worked went dead i changed the battery in both neither one worked. the electronics in the fobs went bad. had to buy a new one. cost about $100.00.have them checked before you by a new one sometimes they need to be reprogramed. info in the owners manual.
