Default Outside Air Temp Sensor?

'86 with auto temp control.

Anyone know where the sensor that picks up the external temperature is located? I'm away from my FSM working on a friend's car later this afternoon.

Up in front of the condenser maybe? Hoping it's just a loose wire.

Thanx

On my year ('88) the sensor is out in front of the radiator on the passenger side. You have to look up in there to see it. There is a connector on the passenger side of the radiator in the engine bay, kind of by the head light.

Correct. Even if your car does not have the Electronic Control, the plug is there.
