Being that I just purchased my 1st vette, I'm trying to figure out how rare or not rare for the '94 model I have. It's matalic blue, with black top and leather interior. I've been told by non-corvette owners that I have a fairly rare colour combination for that year. Is this true? My research has stated that approx. 1200 were made in my colour, but dosen't specify how many were made with the black leather interior and top. Can anyone shed some light on this? T
if your car is admiral blue code 28 in your rpo codes then they made 1,584 of them. Black interior and tops were the most common. and all cars had leather.
GM did not keep build statistics on exterior/interior color combinations.
For the blue colors, there was Admiral Blue (1584 cars with Code 28) and Bright Aqua Metallic (1209 cars with Code 43) . These two colors aren't really close to each other but the Admiral Blue is a medium blue with no metallic content. The Aqua is a metallic blue with some slight green to it

This is a 96 Grand Sport which used Admiral Blue as the main color.
Any 94 could be ordered with a black interior and any 'vert could be ordered with a black top regardless of the interior color.
Here's a link that shows the options, their costs, and the number of the options produced.
