Default Replacing my steering wheel

I'm thinking about replacing my steering wheel with a Mono Commando, and want to see if anybody has one installed in there car to see what it looks like and do you like the wheel.
I also understand I need adapter, and does it take away the telescoping feature in the car.
Also how difficult is it to install. I have steering wheel puller!

I hope someone has pictures!

Thanks to all

i'm using the momo adapter 2702 (for corvette with telescoping) in my 84 and it works just like factory. funny thing is, i'm considering going back to stock and might be interested in your wheel if you sell..

The momo adapter does work as its supposed to (adapts the wheel, telescopes etc.) but, is a huge disappointment in many ways. First off, the thing is too large & clunky, made out of a cheap looking, rough cast process that in no way could have been designed by the famous & beloved momo known for their quality (which leaves me befuddledly shaking my head). Second, this cheap looking, cheap feeling (was approx. $90) is a visual mismatch to both their own beautiful steering wheels, and to our column and interior, and obviously was not designed specifically with the corvette in mind. It's apparently a boilerplate cost-efficient-to-manufacture item adaptable for trucks & tractors as well. It has a ugly wrinkle finish (which sticks out like a sore thumb in our interior and to their steering wheels), has an unpleasing taper to the back of their wheel, and a gargantuan opening for the telescoping lever.

I'm trying to share my experience fairly & accurately to others benefit (rather than just ranting or bashing). I've always lusted after momo products (though admittedly this is the only one i've been able to actually afford). I didnt see the adapter before I purchased online, and I certainly wouldnt have installed it, but I had a lot of trust in the momo brand, so I went for it thinking they know better than I.. now I want to change it.

It might not look as bad if you paint it black

Thanks for feed back! This what the forum is all about getting the truth no matter if it's good or bad. Thanks for telling, I think I'll pass for now.

Hmmm mine looked a lot better than the one shown above and was black, also the "accordion" type piece covered up almost all of that:

That's a Momo Millenium

I did have to have about 1/2" cut off of it to make it fit perfect
