Default Busy Week

Whew been busting my hump . Got the Targa top and outer door weather strips done. Got my cruise control working ( dump switch adjustment). Got my wipers working (pulse cover). Got the heater working and leak fixed ( surge tank replacement and un bypassed the heater). Got the C68 working (outside temp sensor). Got a new console top installed. Still have the roof bow and hatch weather strip to do but they are no biggies like the other 2. Geeze I hate doing Targa weather stripping.

This weekend I plan on doing the intake gasket and cleaning up the oil leakage. I also am going to do a repair on the drivers bolster this week. Got a "New" drivers door bezel to install can't wait for that one it will make me want to buy a new shifter cover I am sure. I got front speakers on the way and a PKE. I should be done by next week.

Now I am starting to notice the cosmetic stuff chips and wheels. Got some touchup and clear for the front bumper which has a big chip. Gonna need a air dam soon too. Gee whiz will it ever stop

But you know this is my favorite part of getting a new Vette. Breathing life into the neglected things that other people either did not know how to fix or did not have the time and money. I wonder how much all of this would've cost me at a Corvette shop? So far I am still south of $1k for all the parts probably closer to $500. I don't wanna count yet. I wonder what I will do when I am done, Oh thats right drive it

Yeah, but that's the fun of it.... When it's running tight and looking good, and you did the work, how good does that feel?

I'm doing CPR on mine now as well. I finally replaced the broken hood release cable and put new tires on the front. I've got the wiper moter out as well as the plenum and runners.... I'm working my way down to the intake. I've got a new intake and large tube runners to install and I'm looking for a good deal on a used or refurbed wiper motor. I'm also working on a new set of heads too.

Fun times!!

Check the parts forum There is a 94 being parted out I bought the pulse cover but he may still have the wiper motor.

Cool, thanks! I think I'll need the whole thing though.... the problem stems from my pulse cover (delays aren't working correctly), but when I pulled the cover off and saw the gears I decided to just replace the whole thing.

Well you could get his motor and work on the pulse cover. Cheapest new covers I found were on eBay. I am not afraid of a used one if the owner states it worked fine as Jared did and it does.
