Take a look a the link and look at the pictures. Is he selling a 94 or a 96? I contacted him with ? regarding the pictures but no response, looks like a scam. Anyway just an observation. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-...QQcmdZViewItem
The only '96 thing I see an indication of is the body-colored corner pieces in front. The window sticker says 94, and the motor is an LT1, not an LT4 as a '96 manual-trans car would have. May have been hit in the front end, or just an owner that wanted the look of the '96.

I actually e-mailed this guy too inquiring about the reserve. He did respond back to me saying the reserve was set at $14,250, but that's all I asked. Some of the photos aren't the best quality, but it still could be a good deal.
I verified the VIN to be a genuine Corvette VIN number, whether it originally came on that car or not. But, the fender vent panels are from a 95 or 96 Vette, and as someone pointed out, the LT1 did not come in a 96 coupled with the 6-speed manual.
I'd want to dig a little deeper to see if the numbers matched as this car may be possibly a salvage car?
If it now has chrome wheels if I were to guess, the first pictures it looks like a 96 with the front bumper and louvers. Then it looks like a 94 with a 94 front bumper and chrome sawblades. He could have updated the wheels to chrome and may have 2 sets of louvers (I've considered buying 91-94 louvers to change the look for variety) but the different front bumpers would have me concerned. If it went from 96 to 94 style it means at the minimum it has had 3 different front bumpers on it , 94, 96 then back to 94 style, which indicates possible front end damage 2X.
I don't think that there's enough evidence to say there's 2 different cars pictured there. I just think that the age of the different pictures is likely to be different, and there were changes made during that time. There's still some explaining to do regarding the front corners being colored vs. black, but the wheel change, I don't think that's worth reading into much.
I personally think the car was hit at some point and that's why the gills and corner splits are different.
