Default Trans leak question

On my recently acquired 85, i've noticed a newly developed slight leak at the front of the transmission. The car was only driven 4,000 miles over the past 5 years, so it's sat up a lot. The torque converter was replaced in November of 06, about 900 miles ago, I have the receipts form the previous owner, and the work was done at the dealership the car was purchased from when new. It dropped about a quarter size specimen of lovely pink fluid while sitting since Sunday's drive. I moved the car yesterday, drove it about four miles, and then headed home due to rain. This morning I noticed nothing on the concrete, just a drop hanging right at the hole at the bottom of the bellhousing. Should I start planning time to pull and look at a bigger coming issue, or just accept the fact that at 23 years old, no matter how low mileage is (28K), that these things happen? BTW, trans is shifting great and running very well.

Could the leak be from the pan? Could try tightening it, or pulling it and checking that it's level and replacing the gasket if it's damaged. If it's over full or gets real hot they can vent from the passenger side vent tube. There are many places for a leak, with the recent work perhaps the pan just needs a retorque.

Default thanks Aardwolf

Yep, i was betting it just burped a little fluid out the vent. I had the oil changed last Saturday, I bet it got topped off and was a little over as it's right at the top of the range on the stick. The wife and i took it out Saturday for an afternoon cruise, probably had it running for longer than it's been driven in one day in years. Might have caused a little to seep from that. We had a great three hour drive and really enjoyed airing it out a bit! If we weren't under a tornado watch this morning I would have driven her today!
