Wow! Clean burning engine
My LT1 has always been a clean burning engine. Two years ago I did the state emissions test at the state testing facility and the numbers were:
HC CO CO2
High Speed 7 0 14.1
Idle Test 122 .49 10.5
The technition said it was one of the cleanest engines he had ever tested. Since then I put in a Hot Cam, 1.6 rockers, deleted the EGR, deleted the Air injection, and got a PCMforless tune.
Just got the emissions test done for this year and my numbers are:
HC CO CO2
High Speed 0 0 13.3
Idle Test 13 0 9.1
This is with 92,000 miles on the engine, 28.5 mpg freeway/18 city, no leaks, nothing broken, running well. You just can't beat that.
