Ticket avoidance?
I've known a lot of law enforcement officers and there are very few bad apples. Now, if his radar had picked up a few more MPH...
I think that the Police at least around here are lessworried about
Vettes because for the most part we are older, more mature (sometimes) and most importantly more experienced. Thus less likely to be a danger to the public. My area is filled with tuners and f-bodies driven by highschoolers. These are the ones they're watching out for. What do you guys think?

I drive for a living and as many have said, You treat a LEO with respect and generally they are respectful with you too. I have dealt with some that are just plain A-Holes from the start and no amount of respect or smooth talking will change thier attitude. To those LEO's I say.......
Well I better not

Coming up the 56, just outside of Kinsley.
I've taken the 50/156 through Garden City before, but much prefer the 56 from Springer, NM; much less traffic and slightly better road. My house is on the west side of GB, near the airport, will be moving out on May 7, with a move-in of July 31
I'll be hooked up to the internet soon after move-in and will be in contact with you....aren't that many C4's in small Kansas towns, and I'll be needing a CF buddy fix.

Plus I saw this sign in a DMV once and it has stuck in my mind...
"If you think you received a ticket you didn't deserve, think of all the tickets you deserved that you didn't get"
I would probably qualify for a couple

...well, if you plan on fighting the ticket in a courtroom, i'd admit to nothing but, if one is content on just paying the ticket, admit to whatever one wants to admit to...
While reading this thread I was thinking the exact same thing. I would not lie but I would not openly admit doing wrong either. Yes sir, no sir, and always be extra polite of course.
It was a lazy Sunday after noon with the top down and I had cruise control set at the limit. I think it was a newbie cop or he had a personal thing against Vettes. Anyways.. I had everything ready to go. I had a copy of the original bill that was passed stating that the law was to prevent rolling roadblocks and obstructions to the flow of traffic along with some other documents. I had to go to court four times, drive an hour each way to get there, and take off of work. I went there the first time to explain my case to the assistant DA. The second time was the wrong court date written on the ticket by the cop. The third time was to plea not guilty and have the date set. The DA offered me a $175 fine, same as the original ticket, non moving violation that I quickly turned down. The fourth time the cop still did not show up. This time the DA finally offered to knocked it down to a 2nd no seat belt $55 fine, non-moving violation. I was
. I almost wanted to turn it down again just to have the cop show up and be able to question him. They should have paid me for my gas back and fourth, toll charges, and time off of work. The whole time sitting in court I see people with lawyers or way worse violations getting off free or with a slap on the wrist. Anyways I hope your experience is much better than mine was.
