Thanks, Got to get back to work so this will have to quick.

I did not trim the ends of the spring. Just cut the OE rubbers and used the wedeges from a MAM kit.

The kit is a waste of $$. The rear bolts could probably be bought at a local hardware store hardened of coarse if they really need to be. The wedges are a waste of time. I believe you could heat the metal plate on the OE rubbers and remove it. Take a belt sander with 50 grit paper and sand down the OE rubber and reinsatll the metal plate. That way no wedge glueing to do. Just seems more practical than removing them in the first place. Cut the brackets accordingly and put it back together. This applys to my 96. It may be different on other years.

NASCAR or Drag? That guy that bought the circle track has a ARCA race there next month. I'm curious to see how that goes. Hope it works out. It's a shame to see it sit there after NASCAR abandoned it. The Spring Nationals were at the Drag Strip this past weekend. I wanted to go but just didn't make it because of all this lowering stuff.

I live about a mile back toward Aberdeen from the Classic car place, on the right. It was a better background than my yard...LOL

I have been thinking along the same lines. Why put the wedges in when the stock part can be reduced for free. I am surprised the front is that low without changing the spring end thickness, usually I notice the front is a bit higher. This could be from the weaker spring in '96 compared to earlier years that I have seen lowered. The car looks great! Thanks for answering.

It's not really low as it appears. There's a good inch or so from the very top of the tire to the finder rim. It was about 2" before lowering. I cut the bracket off 1/2", left out the spacer which is 1/4". So there is 3/4" lower.

"Why put the wedges in when the stock part can be reduced for free". Couldn't have said it better! Your welcome.
