From: Amateur driver on open course.
Lets talk software!
I am interested in the best software I can load into my laptop to analize my engines' performance. I have heard about some, and wondered if any of them take readings while at the track. I would be curious about my readings during a 1/4 mile pass. Does such software exist? If so, where can I get it? Thanks!!

I use Craig Moates software, an AKM cable and a Compaq 700mhz laptop. Works fine. The program will record the info for later downloading to Excel or Lotus 123 and also features a section that records 60', 1/4 mile times, power etc. Best of all the software is free! It may not work on a LT-1 but the AKM site has links to other software that should work.
