Changing the FP...it's the electrical connector at the rear bulkhead under the rubber fuel spill catch. It's got a white plastic safety clip that won't budge. Shot it w an electrical spray lube/cleaner w no results...FSM doesn't illustrate this bad boy.
What's the magic to separate this harness? Considered cutting out the safety clip & using a cable tie to reconnect. Thanks in advance.

The same type of connecter is also used on the back side of the dist. That white lock pin needs to be removed, not cut off to separate the connector. I use a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze the "hairpin" side of it (not the 'fat tab' end) while pushing it out (it will slide out). The 'fat tab' is used to push it back to lock the connecter, and on re-install I put hairpin side up so that it is easier to remove later.

Understand...me and my needle noses were pulling from the fat tab side.
Excellent idea 'bout reinstalling backward...will try ASAP. Thanks a billion Mike.
Cheers
