There is a 94 Convertible Vette for sale just up the road from me. Its Red w/ white top. Automatic. 26,000 original miles and is in EXCELLENT condition. I think the price on it is high...but i wanted opinions from some here on what you think a car like this is worth. I will hold off for now on revealing the asking price as not to influence what you guys think. Thanks

"Corvette Magazine" rates a '94 roadster by condition as:
$25k-show ready
$21k-good
These numbers are about $3k-$4k higher than for a coupe of the same year and condition.

Asking on this forum if any Vette is over priced is like asking if the Pope is Catholic. I have found that NADA is the most accurate price guide available for C4s based on actual cars I have seen advertised and sold. For a 94 as you described, assuming truly excellent condition, NADA appears once again to be pretty accurate based on my real world experience (and trust me. . .people on this forum are not always very "real world" when it comes to pricing!):

The number one thing is. . .if you are happy with the car and the price you agree to pay, then it is worth every penny!

Wow, I guess "Corvette Magazine" numbers really are inflated compared with "real world", as I'd heard before on the Forum...

Good luck with your purchase should you proceed...

I've been watching for a '95 or '96 6 spd. 'vert for a while. Based on what I've seen either sell or sit I would say around $16K for the car you described with that mileage and an auto. Of course IMO if it's really nice, you are confident with the owner's care for the car, you like the car plus it's local I wouldn't hesitate to go higher. Interested to see the actually asking price.

I saw an excellent condition 96 convertible a couple weeks ago with around 50k for 16,000. I'd say it's in that price range.

Well i guess i was correct in my assessment that this car was quite overpriced. I know NADA for a lot of the muscle cars is quite bit optimistic to say the least so i wasnt putting much faith in them here. They might be more realistic when it comes to Vettes. The asking price for the car im referring to was $21,500 or B.O. But my initial opinion was that it would need to be in the mid teens at most for me to think about it.

Yep, I would say you were correct in your assessment. At that price you are in the territory of a '96 LT4 Vert in similar condition. I think some folks throw their cars out there this time of year just to see what they can get.

Default cheap

That 94 if a one owner and kept excellent is worth any amount he can get. I been looking for a mint C4 for fivr years every time i find a jewel its gone. It happened this weekend twice. Convertibles are hard to find. Look at the dealers for new vettes coups up the *** convertibles all sold. Three months of good weather in ct and thats all we have. Tonights macdonalds night and we have thunderstorms it always rain on tuesdays.Did make the Budweiser show in Merrimack all corvette show. Not many C4 ,people are not hot for them. SAVE THE WAVE!

True...but there are not that many 94-96 convertibles with that kind of ultra-low mileage out there.
