I went through the enrolling process until I had to click agreeing to a 10.00 a month charge to my cell phone bill. What gives, I thought this was free?

As of 5 min ago Photobucket 's site indicates their basic service plan is still FREE, i.e.,
"What is included in a Free Photobucket Account?
With a Free Photobucket account you receive -
Multimedia Hosting - Up to 1 GB of space for images and video clips
Huge Bandwidth - Up to 25 GB of monthly traffic - bandwidth is reset every month Photobucket Slideshows - showcase your Photobucket images with your friends and on other websites. Create slideshows, collages, strips, and stamps.
Ability to make individual sub albums Public or Private
Adobe Premiere Express - web-based video Remix and editing application. Please see Features - Adobe Premiere Express for more details.
Meez - create, customize and share 3D avatars. Please see Features - Meez for more details.
Easily share any content directly from your Photobucket account to most popular websites with a single click. Please see Sharing - Share Buttons/Links for more details.
Photobucket Goods The ability to turn your digital images into prints, books, cards, shirts, posters and more through our partner Qoop.
Notes* Uploaded Image files must be 1 MB or less. Images with a display size up to 17 screen (1024 x 768 pixels) can also be uploaded without a file size limit. Image files will be resized to meet the Photobucket constraints.
Uploaded Videos must be 5 minutes or less in play length and 100 MB or less in file size. Videos longer than 5 minutes will be truncated to meet the Photobucket time constraints.
A maximum of 30 images may be loaded at a time per slideshow for most slideshow styles. For Photobucket stamps, users may have between 4 and 16 images depending on the selected size.
If this didn't help, please choose another option on the left or CONTACT US "

Maybe your question would be better answered by either contacting Photobucket by clicking on the "contact us" link quoted above FROM from their web site, http://photobucket.com/faq?catID=29&...=f&topicID=320 or contact your cell phone provider???
I know of no one who uses a cell phone exclusively and never heard of problem like yours in the 14 years or so I've used Photobucket.
Good Luck,

You're doing something wrong. No one here pays for a Photobucket account. Try this link.

85 500 horse, I tried again and it seems to me that in step 3 they want 9.98 per month on my cell phone. Try it yourself and see what, if anything, I' doing wrong

I did and here's what you were "doing wrong": READ carefully: you missed the acceptance part where the "X" in the box before the word "YES!". Delete the X; failure to do so says you agree to,..."our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Contest Rules and to join a premium subscription service for only $9.99/month billed to cell."

Here's the total acceptance text you'll see when you get to that part that includes that somewhat sneaky way to get $9.99 a month out of your pocket...

..."By clicking on 'I accept' below you are agreeing to the
Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

X Yes! I would like a chance to win $500 or a new PS3! By clicking below and signing up for GatorArcadetm, you agree to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Contest Rules and to join a premium subscription service for only $9.99/month billed to cell. Other charges may apply. You also agree to receive mobile marketing materials relating to the promotion from GatorArcadetm.

I guess this proves that it pays to read the small print on acceptance statements and other legal docs"
You were going toooo fast, but that's OK since you were in a VETTE
BETTER YOU SLOW DOWN

If you still can't get it to work, if you want, you can PM me what username you want, a password and your e-mail address. I'll set it up for you. You'll probably get an e-mail from them and follow the directions. If you don't get an e-mail from them, after I set it up, you can log on and change the password.

donivan3,
You can't beat that for service now can you?

As they are saying, most of us use Photobucket for free. There are other picture hosting sites though, but I think Photobucket is the most popular.

I use Image Shack
"http://www.imageshack.us/
Total free you dont have to sign up. You can re-size your images. I use the hot-links for forums 1 line and I un-check the include details box, just copy & paste the URL into the message box

Works Great
