Default Automatic traction control?????????

How do I know if my '94 has tractioon control? Where is the on / off swithch?

It's ON automatically, and OFF if ya hit that little button.

top left corner of panel, on automatically, push to turn off, light comes in in panel indicated turned off. Turn it off when you want to do some serious cornering.

any idea how to get the LED light back on again ? It's located just above the traction control button and is lit when you turn the system off. My center dash panel light spells out ASR OFF, but the LED is dead

I hate this traction control...but I guess traction control had to start somewhere. My dads '03 is much smoother. You don't really know it's there. The C4's system down right scares me and has almost gotten me in more trouble than if it'd been off.

I reprogrammed the timing it takes out on my 93. Not so violent reduction i power now.

How is that done Steve? I'm not real fond of the settings on my '96 either. I agree with the other post, it can get you into trouble if you're not careful. The slightest wheel spin will pull my accelerator pedal back up and then take a second or so to recover.
