If you put new gears in, the MPH will not be accurate. Is the same true for the Odometer? Will it read 100k after only 60k as an example?
Where do you get new gearing @ I'm thinking dealership should still have it going from 2.59 to 3.07 would be sweet, however I wonder what affect it will have on MPG

I haven't even looked, but We just put 3.73s in my buddy's camaro last weekend.

Tire size also affects your speedometer and odometer. The larger the tire, the slower your speed will read and vice versa. So if you've got really big tires on your car and you didn't recalibrate your speedometer, be careful or you'll be driving faster than you intend.
