Default E-Brake trouble

So i replaced all my e-brake cabels all the way up to the handle on my 94 vette and it is not strong enough to hold on any hills. I didnt see any adjustments to tighten it...any suggestions??????

My '88 FSM states to disable the PB auto adjuster by sticking a nail through the hole to hold the pawl in the disengaged position. I assume you have removed that retaining nail.

Once cable maintenance has been performed you need to apply and release the PB three times. Here the handle needs to move up 7-9 clicks with a force of 50lb.

When you release the PB lever there should be no break drag and no gap between caliper housing and PB levers.

Hope this is similar enough to be of some help.

auto adjusting brakes do so when backing up. Do that 3-4 times, not too fast, and see if they adjust.

thanks for your input guys. I looked in my service manual and noticed the gap for some lever (forgot name) was way off...only supposed to be 6mm it was more than 1/4 inch.
