Hood Latch Lube
Okay, I have stripped both hood latches of 14 years worth of grease and crap and am ready for the proper way to freshly lube them up...
What's the proper way to do it?

What about the other part? Let the lithium grease just transfer when they come in contact?
I'm assuming that Chevy must've lubed them everytime the original owner took it in for warranty work, oil changes, etc...they just loaded them up like crazy. I had huge chunks falling off.
It also gave me a good chance to clean the pockets the hinges sit in and unplug the drain holes.
