Do you have a autozone or advance around? They both have loaner tools available.

You don't need a fork for the rear tie rod. It will tap up and out very easily.

You need the pickle fork. Rent one from autozone or Checker. They might even be able to loan you one for free depending on the store manager. GC
Its like the clutch plate alignment tool... do need one, no if you have hours to waste....

I just back off on the nut until it is flush with top of bolt and then just pop it with a hammer. Forks tend to tear the boot.

They also have something that looks like a press to push it out so you don't wreck a tie rod end that you plan on re-using. A fork can make a good tie rod, bad.

Pull the half shafts without touching the tie rod ends.
jack up the rear(both sides) pull the wheel on the side you want to remove. Using a socket and an extention or 2, go through the wheel well to the inner u joint, remove the top 2 nuts, rotate the wheel 180, remove the other 2 nuts.
From under the car, on the outside u joint, remove the bottom 2 nuts, rotate and remove the other 2.
The half shaft will come out towards the outside and down. Make sure the car is up high enough so the shaft can drop down far enough to clear.
Reverse the order to install. It doesn't take that long to complete the job.
