I had new tires put on my car and the right rear tire sensor was broken I got a new sensor and had it put on but after I drove it the light on the DIC came back on. I got the correct senor so I know that is right. The only thing I can think of is the battery in it is bad.

Any other ideas as to why the light will not go off?

Is it the Service LPTWS light ? My goes on and off all the time. Certain frequencies set it off. Always around this same water tower.
