Hard Decision?
Hey guys/gals,
i have a tough decision to make, is it going to be c3 or c4?
most probably a c4
the reason i was put off the c3 (preferably 80 - 82) is the room, or the lack of room, being 6 foot 6inches, it was very snug (head against roof, shoulders on door, knees around s/wheel). but as i found the other day at an american dealership in Perth Western Australia. is the 77 and 81 i sat in were both rhd, which seems to have less room than lhd vettes. also the later stingrays had more room as i found out by sitting in a 81 lhd vette. i fitted perfectly, was so amazed
got me thinking about getting a vette with that lovely shape again, but then i remembered all the good stuff c4's come with and the price of a nice c3 in oz is $30000 give/take, whereas a 1988 c4 i can get for $17000 ish.
i have come to love the c4 after sitting in one, seat all the way back s/wheel not even all the way up, and legs are even stretched more than i expected them to be. stacks of room and even more snug than the c3, very sporty. not to mention the nice dash, and elec gizmos!
anyway sorry to rant on about this, but i am in love with vettes, and especially after finding out i fit in them. its even more encouraging now to get one.

I too was undecided (C3 or C4???) before getting my first Vette but sitting in an '89 coupe was what hooked me, along with the digi-dash and the clam hood...
