Rough Idle, Trouble Code 32
Please help! I have a '90 Coupe, standard engine, with a rough idle after the engine is warm and when driving, a trouble code #32 that pops up. It says "EGR circuit fault". I was able to "massage" the EGR valve with increasing roughness when operated. I also see some mention about the MAP sensor. Do I also have an air plenum (or other)leak? I appreciate any advice. My mileage dropped from 24 mpg to about 19 mpg. This is serious. [/B][/B]

If you have a vacuum gage, hook it up to your PVC line ( or other vac source). This should give you a good idea if you have a vacuum leak. My 90 idles at a smooth 20".
If you have a MityVac or similar vacuum pump, hook up to the EGR line and see if it will hold 10" vac. If not, the valve is defective.
The vacuum gage and pump are cheap investments in working on these cars.
