Well, as I have told you in the past, I just had clutch and dual mass flywheel replaced as well as my fuel injectors. No more problems right....WRONG. I was up in Charlotte with Metroliner Corvette Club doing a mountain run when my hydraulics crap out. Had to call AAA and as my car was being put on the roll back, I said to my freinds, "I have seen Vettes on roll backs and thought man that must suck and now I have first hand experience seeing my car on a roll back and IT DOES SUCK!"
Now I have a new slave AND master cylinder. Picked up car on Friday and was on the road to Maggie Valley Saturday am.
Did you lose all your fluid? If these things aren't bled properly, they'll become a real headache. I just laid out 1600.00 for clutch, slave, master, pressure plate, flywheel et al but had to have it bled multiple times.
Lost all the fluid in the parking lot where AAA rescued me. I put fluid in the master and it just poured out the bottom, slave fell apart.
I was told that Eckler's had about 90 people waiting for the slave cylinders to come in. I paid 50% more than what they were asking but I did get a AC Delco.
