Use Goo Gone. I would squirt it all around the edges of the sticker and let it absorb really good.. Then use a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive and gently lift if off. Keep squirting the goo gone as you remove it. Goo Gone is harmless to your paint and is great for removing sticky adhesive.
Home Depot has Goo Gone in the adhesives section and the checkout lines. After soaking it, you can use fishing line to get behind the emblem and cut through the adhesive. Then use more Goo Gone to clean it up.
If you're not a fisherman, I've heard dental floss will work
behind the offending badge and help work it loose. Don't
be afraid to use lots of goo remover.
I have to agree the goo gone works great I have used it many times in as many different kind of applications. You can find it at the home depot or any supermarket. It works great on cleaning up the leftover stuff from inspections stickers, vinyl, etc....
Do it like the pros...a heat gun should do the trick. If you don't own a heat gun, try a blow dryer. The goo gone is also a good idea, just giving you some options.
Here's another vote for fishing line. I replaced the hood and gas tank emblems on a warm day with some 12lb monofilament line. No damage to the paint at all. Just cleaned up the residual adhesive with a little WD40.

It helps if you take the fishing line off the rod 'n reel. Also remove the hook or any type of lure before you attempt this. :D
