Quick question, I have an 1989 coupe. Had a guy give me his factory radio out of a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado (cd player). Will this fit in my "89" ?

Nobody know ? I know the wiring plugs will have to be changed, I'm just wondering about fit.

It will physically fit the dash. I have a cd player in my '86 from
a '00 or '01 impala. I removed the broken bose system completely.

I dont know if this helps; but was at a Vette show last Sunday and a guy with an '86 put a radio in from a C5----it fit perfectly!!!! It was a CD-radio-graphic equalizer. It fit exactly in the spot for the radio and looked like it came from the factory.

I was just wondering about fit. The new radio is the same height as the original radio, just a little deeper. Hate not to use this radio, is basically brand new.
