Anyone else use a leaf blower to dry their car instead of a towel. Seems like a good Idea to me. No chance of scratchs, and gets water out of cracks. :yesnod:
I do but I always finish with a good 100% Cotton USA made towel.. leaf blower does a great job getting the water out of those hard to get areas but never seems to get it all off the car itself..
Actually I prefer sitting in a chase lounge, sipping on a Mint Julep. Watching a couple 18-year-old buxom, bikini clad, sweethearts blow it off. But in reality, yes I am out there with a leaf blower followed up by a cotton towel.
I bought a California Water Blade and really like it. It does a great job on the larger flat area and leaves the windows streak free. For the small areas, I like an all cotten towel.

I got a shop vac that converts to a blower. Can vacum and dry the car with one tool. Nice thing is that the blower is in my right hand and the hose has a really nice attachment that is easy to manuver, drys the car great. No need for towel drying.
I used a waterblade too for almost a year....until i caught an unseen piece of sand on the blade and put a 24" scratch on my hood. I've gone back to using an Absorber.

I use a leaf blower to get those damn leaves out from the car. Works pretty good. I usually use it to dust off the car after i wash & wax it. mine is black it gets dusty just sitting there.

Question for the leaf blower crowd....How do you blow your car off without kicking up all kinds of dust and dirt? It seems like it has the potential to create and awful mess. No flames, just wondering :)
Right after you wash the car the driveway is wet, same as when a painter is going to shoot a car, he wets the floor down with water, No dust
