Pre-cut black outs?
The stuff I used on my old car was for model cars, so some Mineral Spirits would dissolve it right off. I used it on the inside of the lens so that the elements wouldn't do the same thing.
They were on the car when we bought it and I didn't have a clue
Thought 'Vette taillights were supposed to look like that!
Once I figured out what the deal was, I was able to choose when to use them, and when to take them off.
I got to the point that I like them for shows, but NOT for DD.
Saw the same critters you're now looking at in one of the catalogs and thought "for $20 I'll take a shot" to get the front blackouts also.
Upshot is:
If I didn't have the acrylics, I'd use the static clings all around.
However.....I don't like them much....they feel and seem "cheesy".....but look OK.
I still prefer the acrylics, but use the front stacics as well during shows.
For $20, whaddya got to lose?????

From a distance they look o.k., up close they look very cheap....just remember you get what you pay for.
I should have returned them but instead I made a pattern of the front light lenses out of shopping bag paper and cut them down so they would fit directly on the light lens, tossed out the crappy brackets and used heavy duty velcro to attach them to the light lens.
1/8 " tinted lexan is available at most hardware stores and if you can get your mits on a scroll saw, its a very easy job to make your own instead of spending $50 on a crap design set.
Live and learn!
Good luck.
