Floor Jacks, jack stands, jack points? 87 Coupe
Any thoughts on what make and model of floor jack to use on an 87 Coupe that will get under the car and have sufficient height to put the car on stands?
Any recommendations on Jack stands?
Where are the best places to place the floor jack for lifting?

I jacked mine right in the middle on each side....NASCAR style.
Directly underneath the mirrors. Regular floor jack and regular jack stands worked just fine.

I bought a set of Crafstman jackstands at Sears that are lower than the usual stands. The standard size jackstand was too high for the vette. I had to lif the car too high up before the jack would slide under on the lowest setting. These are just right.
I use a regular Crafstman jack.
