I have a 1995 LT1
For Some reason when the car warms up it starts idling rough and throws a CEL. When im driving it the car sounds like its missing when i go 2 speed up or if i punch it... but as soon as i let off and get back on it, the car is fine but then does it again in the next gear. when the car idles it sounds like it stumbles and the AIR system keeps turning on for a second and turns off. When the Check Engine Light turns on the high speed fans turn on no matter the temperature.

I got the same thing going on now with my 92.
The problem with the SES light is it goes out when you restart it.
I tried to get the laptop hooked up to pull the historical code but the software wasn't talking to the ECM.
I'll let you know when I get my codes pulled
last week my 93 was doing it so bad mostly at low rpms or heavy loads. It in fact was missing and ended up being my opti just crapped out and i needed a new one. $1000 later it all set

My historical code was a 26 - quad driver failure. Reading the service manual I need to do a little more troubleshooting but it is either I forgot to plug in the EGR selenoid or the Evap selenoid is bad. The other selenoids are functioning so I'm going to pick up the evap selenoid on the way home and check everything tonight.
If you have a helms manual check out the CCM section to see how you can pull your histoical codes from the display.
