I don't know the exact number of 1984-1988 Vettes that were built, but I understand that there were a bunch of them. My question now is.........where the heck are they all at? I can't remember the last time I saw one on the road. I do alot of driving, so I would think I would see one once in awhile. All the other years seem to be around on the roads, just not the early C4's. Where are you guys at?
I drive my 87 vette every day since I bought it in 1989. Don't forget that these cars are 20+ years old. Think about how many other 20 year old cars you see on the road.
Mine is also. It is only an occasional driver, as we have two other cars. Since we have collectors insurance, we are limited in how many miles we can put on it.

It will turn up at some shows in the near future.
You may want to consider American Collectors. They just uped my annual mileage from 2,500 to 5,000 miles without any price increase. Nice of them to do this for free.
My 87 is in the garage getting her beauty sleep. She likes to come out a few nights a week for a drive to the local ice cream establishment and then once in awhile for ride into work on nice days.. Since it is 52 miles round trip to work she doesn’t do it that often, she doesn’t like the heavy traffic. Her favorite trip is the Saturday night cruise in where she can sit and talk to all her other vette girl friends. She gets all dolled up for her Saturday nights so she can sit and talk about how that one looks cheap, that one is being driven by a neighbor when her owner isn’t home. How another one has put on wider tires over the years, the normal vette chatter. It’s funny hearing all the old girls talking about each other.
I've seen a few around where I live but you can tell these are ones that are in the garage most of the time. If you drive around Monroe/Middletown OH you'll see me as I drive mine about 5000 miles a year.
