on my way to dinner tonight there was a light rain so I went to turn my wipers on, and I got nothing. It was not a big deal as I always have Rain-X on my windsheild.
So when I get back to work, I start looking for the problem (I am at work so I only have a minute or 2) So I pop open the fuse box expecting to see a blown fuse, and it was fine.
So my question is, What else could be wrong? Blown motor? Switch isnt working? How would I know if it was either of these problems?
Turn the wiper switch in the on position and wiggle the harness plugs that plug into the wiper motor if the motor starts running you have a bad electrical connection . Gm has a printed circuit board in some of their wiper motors that have solder joint problems this can be repaired with a soldering iron and some patience good luck. :)
