Both are about $7k too much.

You should be able to find a nice LT4 coupe for under $15k.

They must be getting their prices out of corvette Magazine.

They both have low miles, and this is prime time (at least in my part of the country). But they're at least a few K too high.

Both are high. There are at least two CE LT4s in the for sale section with comperable mileage for less $.

They are both trophy winners. They have both won gold spinners awards. Does that make the price higher????

Talk the guy with the LT4 down a little. You'll like it. It's a lot more car than a LT1 and you won't have to spend the difference to make it run as well as the LT4 already will. Ask if the Opti has been changed on either one of them. That's an upcoming nightmare for either.

Yes, it does. Obviously both owners have taken a lot of care of their cars and they are asking top dollar for them.

Now, should you PAY THEM top dollar? The answer to that depends on what you want out of the car.

A little over 3 years ago I paid top dollar for a 1995 A4 coupe with every available option and 36K miles. I drive this car every day and have put 50K+ on the car in just over 3 years. In fact, I drive my car every day year round and wouldn't hesitate for a moment to jump in it and take it on a 1,000 mile drive.

But you see that's what I wanted when I bought the car. I work a lot and don't have the time to work on the car over the weekends and so .... in buying an older vehicle ...... I looked for and paid for a really well maintained car.

The 6-speed LT4 is worth $2 - $3K more than a LT1 auto. Are those prices too high ... maybe by $2 grand but for me they are not. If I was to buy another late model C4 like Mr. Peabody (below) I'd spend the $$.

Here is a comparison...I just got a fully loaded 94 coupe with 44k on it for 14,500..the only option it's missing is the performance axle. It has it's normal wear on the paint and such with scratches, but the interior is near perfect. The car also just had a brand new opti and water pump put in and the tires are pretty new.

For me...I could care a less about trophy's and stuff like that, I want to drive it...so does it add value, not for me.

Good luck with the choice...I also agree they are a few grand over priced.

Maybe not in Washington state, but near Washington, DC you sure can.

32k miles is out of the "collector" market for a 12 year old car.

If I were spending that kind of coin on a C4 it would have a wide rear bumper or would be blue with a big white stripe
