Default Car cover question

My car has to sleeps outside now (sorry!) and I need to get a decent cover that will protect it from the glaring sun here in NC. I know custom-fitted covers are the best, but I would like to know what brands are the most popular, and if a semi-custom (cheaper) cover is just as good.

I have a Wolf cover that came with my car and it works just fine.

There's a deal from one of the Vendors right now for like $69 plus tax and shipping for a 4-layer cover. That sounds like a killer deal that I would hop on if I were you.

Mine sits out during the summer, just get a Cali Duster to remove the dust that collects underneath.

I got a Stormproof from Corvette Central three years ago. It is weatherproof, UV Resistant, breathable and dust proof Very satisfied with it and it is a custom fit.

I'm using a Silvershield, I believe it's called....it came with my car-but
it's in the garage. My Z-28 however, gets a Wolf Noah also, and it's
a lot of cover for the money. I got mine from Ecklers as well...

I would stay away from California Car Cover's covers. I bought one less than a year ago for my C5 and a month ago it just started falling apart. It was not at the seams but in the material. I emailed them pics and they have yet to respond.

I only use my car cover to keep the Florida sun off my car. If it rains I remove it - which you should do with any car cover.

I get my car covers at Wal-Mart for $19.95. It has a lifetime warranty. That means I get a new one every three months. They're a generic fit but they're only $19.95 folks.

I paid $19.95 about four years ago. So far I must have gotten twelve replacements under the warranty. I usually retrn them in the original box and no one has even bothered looking at the one I'm returning.

There's no shame in being cheap.
