the best way to take battery out of car . disconnect all the stuff above the battery and pull it out or pull the side pannel of the car off and pull it out the side . thanks
Very Easy! There will be a 10mm bolt at the top of the panel nearest the door that you will need to remove and two or three torx screws along the inner fender that will also be removed and lastly there is another 10mm bolt located at the bottom of the panel closest to the door this one is acessed with a flat wrench you can't see it until you lay down almost on the ground but it is there, Just give it a couple of turns DO NOT remove it just loosen it a bit. At this point the whole panel will pull right off Then you can just slide the battery out the side. Be very careful when putting the panel back on and make sure you align it correctly, If not you run the risk of the leading edge of your door wedging itself against the panel and causing severe damage. Don't let all this scare you I have removed the battery on my car several times now with no damage to the car and I can do it in less than 5 minutes It's no big deal.
Side panel has 3 bolts in the wheel well, one on top(of the panel) and one underneath the panel.
The one in between the crack(see pic) just loosen it until the panel slides out, that's all.
