Key Fob Issues
Got a 1995 C4 Coupe, bought the correct key fob from Chevrolet after someone previously got one for a convertible, question is now it will open the passenger side lock and the hatch but will not open the driver side door and is it suppose to lock and unlock the doors? What do i have to replace to get the fob to unlock the driver door too?

You Have "PKE" System---IT should unlock drivers door as you approach the car--and lock as you walk away from the car--without touching any buttons on remote--the buttons on the fob are for opening passenger door and hatch when within range ---it's possible to turn the system off if you hold the pass. lock button down for too long --to reactivate stand next to the car hold door lock button down for 5 seconds release button and walk away it should lock on it's own---if that doesn't cure the problem---I'd sit in the pass. seat(both doors closed)--and use the electric lock/unlock switch on pass. door if the drivers door doesn't lock/unlock with the passenger switch you MAY have a bad door lock actuator/motor--you would need to remove drivers door panel and check voltage at the actuator connector while operating the door lock switch--if you have voltage the actuator is bad.--another 2 cents
