Default Need Exhaust Help....Please Provide Input

Im about to pull my hair out trying to find an exhaust like i want. I want loud....but i want quality sound. I dont care about resonance either. I have eliminated my mufflers...but its still not loud anough and i would like some tone to it. I was giving thought to eliminating the resonator and running mandrel bent tubing from the cats back to a pair of.... ? What would be a loud....good sounding thing to put on there?

I put Corsa on looking for some good sound. I was not impressed, it just wasn't that loud. All of my friends made fun of me because it sounded like a truck. Last week I put full length headers on and took the cats off. Now the car sounds plain mean.

I have an idea. Let me run it buy yall. How about gutting everything from behind the cats and running madrel tubing to two of these? http://www.fbody.com/members/torquem/E1203.jpg
They are stainless steel and are made by GHL. They look very high quality http://www.ghlmotorsports.com/
anyone ever deal with them? They're prices seem exceptional. The mufflers i was looking at are under the universal section. This way i wouldnt have to screw with trying to add tips as well. Just weldem on

I would suggest that you get a Power Effects system. Great sound, adjusatable, great fit and quality....plus the muffs are made from aluminum; saves weight.

I have the 2.75" Borlas and they are pretty loud, I think. They are so loud in the car I don't see how they couldn't be out

If you don't have emissions testing...
I have the MAD true dual (off road) exhaust which displaces the cat and precats. At the end are a pair of Borla mufflers.
It sounds terrific, but don't expect to be able to carry on a conversation inside the car at 1600-1800 rpm.
I personally love the way it sounds. Loud at WOT, but quiet when cruising at 70.
And by getting rid of the cat/precats, my underhood temp dropped by leaps and bounds.

I would say power effects too, but i am poe. :) If you are on a budget and cant spend that much, try some flowmasters. You can get em for like $100 a piece at Jegs or Summit. Gut you cat too and it sounds like a mean ****. Just a thought.
