K&N filter

I was wondering how much of an impact changing to a K&N makes on performance. Does it need to be used in conjunction with other mods or will it noticeably improve performance on its own?

I forgot to ask....my car is completely original (CFI) so will a filter do anything for it or is it a waste of money with no other mods?

a K&N will improve your cars performance, how much is considerably debated. Open up your air intake lid and youll get all of the air your car needs to run well.

oh yeah, i forgot the air filter is on top of the TBI on 84's, i keep thinking that its in the same place as ours, sorry. But you should still get a K&N

Getting the air through your intake is critical for better performance. Yes it helps, but this is only the beginning and a good place to start. I did Corsa exhaust and K&N filter at the same time and definately noticed the difference. :smash:
