Corvette Crossroads Show?

Thanks
I was expecting a lot more cars, not to say that there aren't a lot of corvettes in the area, the town is full of them on that particular week-end, but there aren't a lot that are entered in the show. The reason for this could be one of two reasons the way I see it. 1. This is an expensive show to enter. I have never payed more than $20 to enter a show and this one was I believe $35. Granted I didn't preregister, but that would have only saved me $5. What do you get for money? It didn't include the fee for the cruise over the bridge, (this costs $3 each way now) and that is about it. 2. The other reason could be the fact that if you don't show up with a rather large club, your chances of winning in your class are slim and none. By no means am I bitter or whining because I didn't win, the cars in my class were nicer than mine is. I did notice in a few classes that a few cars that placed still had road grime on them.
I can tell you that your biggest problem in attending this show will be getting a room. At this point in the game alot of places no longer have rooms available. If I remember correctly, this is the 22 or 23 year for this show and people tend to book their rooms guite early in the year.
If you would like some more information from someone that has attended the show much more regularly than me, drop me an e-mail (work schedule doesn't allow me to check the board as often as I would like) If you would like to have a club "take you under their wing" so to speak, let me know, we had a block of rooms reserved and their might be one left.
