Rear Pumpkin swap.....
I'm in the process of getting everything I need to make a pumpkin change this fall. I've bought a used one from a forum member. It has 3:07's in it to replace my 2:59's. Pete K in going to supply me with a 9 1/2 stall converter while I'm this far into it. I'm changing u joints (spicers) and the Teflon washers. I want to change the seals in the pumpkin while it is out. The pinion shaft seal looks simple enough. The axle yoke seals appear to be a different story. Do I need any special tools to remove them. Like one for the ring holding them in the gear case. I have never had anything to do with rear gear stuff. It's going to be a learning process for sure!
