Are these things supposed to be noisy when the windows are up? Mine are, especially the driver's side. Work great and keeping the wind off your face when the windows are down.

Mine didn't fit the bottom of mirror bezel. For $25 the fit was cheesy looking. Did you have to trim & fit??
I started with the cheap flimsey aftermarket kind and it was noisey. So I got what I think is the OEM part now. It's much sturder, came with the pop rivets, and the top edge is curved instead of pointed. I stuck them on with the tape first, and repositioned the driver's side one twice with no luck. So I just gave up and went ahead and riveted it on.
It's almost like the drivers side and passenger's side isn't exactly symetrical. is there a way to adjust the whole side mirror assembly up or down mayby an 1/8th of an inch or something.
Here's a timeline to help:
1.) Put the cheap aftermarket flimsey wind deflectors on. They kept the wind out of your face when the windows were down, but the driver's side was very noisey the faster you drove.
2.) I repositioned the driver's side delfectors several times thinking I might have it crooked a fraction of an inch and that must be the reason. Didn't work.
3.) Put new A-Pillar/header weatherstripping. Still noisey..no different.
4.) Took off the cheap deflectors and put the OEM (I think they are OEM). Still the driver's side is much noiser.
I think it must be the position of the entire mirror assembly. Mayby I need to pop the door panel off and tweak it a fraction of an inch if it is even adjustable. This really doesn't bother me that much, but if I know there is a way to fix it, I wana try to.
