Default Dyno Day!!

I went to the Breathless Performance Dyno day today and won first place. Well to be honest only a handful of Vettes ran on the dyno today. (about 7 vettes) But I'm happy my '93 put down better numbers than all of the C5 and C6 LS2 Vettes. None of them had serious mods, just Corsa catbacks or exhaust and intake sytems. There where some highly modified vettes there and at the last event but today none of them wanted to dyno...???

It was a Mustang Dyno and the C5s and C6s put down from 330RWHP to 367RWHP. I put down 381RWHP with my stock cat back exhaust. I'm wondering if going to 1.6 rockers and some better flowing mufflers would add a few more ponies...What do you guys think?

IF you have the LT4 top end you should already have 1.6 rr.If not the 1.6rr and some high flow mufflers will likely put you over 400rwhp.I would suggest a re-tune after the mufflers.
NICE NUMBERS!

When I had the heads ported and polished, the shop put in all new valve train components. valves, springs and new rockers. After he did them I asked if he put in 1.6 rockers and he told me he put in 1.5 Crane full roller rockers because he thought that they would be easier on the valve train. (I wanted the motor to be durable/reliable-everything is balaced and I have forged pistons and rods). That's why I'm wondering about going back to 1.6 rockers.

You'll gain very little from an aftermarket cat-back. Depending on your heads/cam and what valve springs you are running, will possibly pick up ~10 hp from the 1.6 rockers.
