Black GS's are all over the world now...how bout charcoal Z06's??? I gotta ask.... when you got your car painted... did it have Orange Peel in it??
Later,
You should think about black 2000 C5 wheels, they look great....go to http://www.voodooperformance to check them out. This site also has pictures of customers cars..They are lighter then the gs wheels..which also is a plus. Good luck in your purchase :yesnod:
The next ones on my list are the 2000 C5's. I already have some lined up if I want to get them, same with the Z06's. I am stearing toward the Z06's more and more though.
Your very welcome organge C4, always like to help out forum members!!! Those are the rims i am getting. Voodooperformance sells the 18*9.5's all round with rubber for $2,100..Thats with Kuomo's 275 35's zr-18's..They look great!!! Good Luck with your purchase. :yesnod:
I know everyone here likes the ZR1/GS rims but I think they are getting kind of common place. I'm getting my mom's Enkei V1 rims in a month or two and they look sweet on c4s. 17x9.5 the whole way around with a polished lip (i hate the chrome version)
Q. What are the pros and cons regarding spacers and adapters?
A. In most cases, using a spacer (of greater than 3mm thickness) or an adapter means you will be using a wheel that was not designed to fit your vehicle! Unless you get the advice of a professional, this is trouble -- trouble that almost always leads to excessive wear on suspension parts, poor ride and potential mechanical failure. In the vast majority of applications, we do not recommend the use of these devices.
After reading this about wheel adapters, I am having second thoughts about going with the 2000's. There are some other wheels that I have found that have a similar appearance, or I might go back to the GS's.
